Splash
A no-fuss plant care reminder app for Android.
What it does
- Track your houseplants with a name and a photo.
- Set per-plant reminders for any care task — water, fertilize, mist, rotate, prune, repot.
- Each task has its own schedule and time of day. Reminders arrive as local notifications, no account needed.
- Optional AI identification: point the camera at a plant (or type its name) and Splash auto-fills the species, a beginner-friendly care guide, and a sensible default schedule. You adjust before saving.
- Optional AI diagnosis: photograph a struggling plant and get a health assessment — likely causes and a numbered treatment plan, with each cause honestly marked "likely" or "possible".
- Export your whole library — notes, schedules, photos — to one file, and import it on another device.
- All data stays on your device unless you choose to use an AI feature, which uses Google's free Gemini API.
Privacy
Splash collects no analytics, has no account system, and runs entirely on your device. The only time anything leaves the phone is when you explicitly use an AI feature (sends a photo or plant name to Google's Gemini API), look up an image (queries Wikipedia), or export your library to a destination you pick yourself.
